Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Musonia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of Musonia, including free and paid subscribers. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. About Musonia

Musonia is a SaaS platform for independent UK musicians, providing tools for finding venues, planning tours, managing setlists, creating gig posters, building stage plans, running PR campaigns, and connecting with other musicians.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Musonia. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

To access most features of Musonia, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

5.1 Free & Paid Plans

Musonia offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Gig Booker at £9.99/month, Management Suite at £29/month, and PR Agent at £49/month). Features available on each plan are described on the pricing page.

5.2 Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Musonia, including songs, setlists, tour plans, and promotional materials.

7.2 Licence to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.

7.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You confirm you have the necessary rights to upload any content, including song lyrics, chord charts, and images, and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights.

7.4 AI Features

Some features use the Anthropic Claude API to process your content and generate responses (e.g. pitch emails, AI suggestions). By using these features, you consent to your content being sent to the Claude API for that purpose. Your content is not used to train AI models.

8. Third-Party Services

Musonia integrates with third-party services including Facebook Login, Google Maps, Supabase, Resend, Stripe, and Anthropic. Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Musonia platform itself — including its design, code, branding, and content we create — belongs to Musonia and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our permission.

10. Venue Data

Musonia provides a database of UK venues sourced from publicly available information. This data is provided in good faith but may contain errors or be out of date. We do not guarantee the accuracy of venue data and accept no liability for decisions made based on it.

11. Disclaimers

Musonia is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Musonia and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform.
